Tranmere Rovers midfielder Joe Thompson has revealed that he has been given the all-clear after battling cancer.
The 25-year-old began chemotherapy in November last year after he was diagnosed with nodular sclerosing Hodgkin's disease.
Seven months later, Thompson has confirmed on Twitter that he hopes to return to playing football after beating cancer.

Thompson's teammate Max Power created the Grow4Joe charity, which encouraged footballers to grow their hair and beards to raise money for leukaemia and lymphoma research, after the midfielder was diagnosed.
