United States snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg has celebrated his Winter Olympics slopestyle victory in Sochi by posting a 'selfie' with his gold medal.
The 20-year-old finished in pole position after his first run, achieving a score of 93.50.
Hours after Kotsenburg's win, NBC Olympics posted the following image on their official Twitter account:

Kotsenburg told BBC Sport: "I'm really excited. It feels awesome. I don't know what to call it. I have no idea what's actually going on. This is the craziest thing that ever happened."
Team GB snowboarders Jamie Nicholls and Billy Morgan finished sixth and 10th respectively.
