West Ham United striker Andy Carroll showed generosity when being approached by a man in the street during a night out in London by giving him money.
The 24-year-old, who signed for the Hammers from Liverpool in a reported £15m deal this summer, was spotted with friends in Soho on Thursday night.
In photographs published by the Daily Mail, Carroll can be seen handing over a £50 note to the stranger after he was approached in the street.
Carroll could be out of action for the start of the season due to a heel injury.
