West Ham United's Diafra Sakho 'accepts police caution for criminal damage'

West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho accepts a police caution for criminal damage after being arrested in August.

West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho has accepted a police caution for criminal damage following his arrest in August.

The 25-year-old was detained by police in the summer on suspicion of common assault, criminal damage and malicious communication following an incident at his home.

Sakho was arrested for a second time that month for making threats to kill and intimidating a witness.

The assault, threats and intimidation accusations were dropped, but Sakho has been cautioned over criminal damage.

According to The Mirror, a Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "A 25-year-old man arrested on Thursday August 6 at an address in Emerson Park, Hornchurch, on suspicion of criminal damage and malicious communications accepted a police caution on November 2 in relation to criminal damage.

"He was advised that no further action will be taken in relation to the allegation of malicious communications."

Sakho has scored 13 Premier League goals in 31 appearances for the Hammers.
