Astronauts watch World Cup in space

Three astronauts on board the International Space Station take a break to watch the World Cup.

Three astronauts on board the International Space Station have revealed that they were able to watch 10 minutes of a World Cup match in between experiments earlier this week.

NASA's Reid Wiseman and Steve Swanson joined German Alexander Gerst of the European Space Agency to watch his home nation beat Portugal 4-0.


NASA revealed that the trio are also hoping to watch the final of the tournament next month.
