England's newly-appointed boss Stuart Lancaster sets his sights on World Cup glory.

England's newly-appointed head coach Stuart Lancaster has his sights set on winning the World Cup on home soil in 2015.

The former Leeds boss said that he wants to bring "pride" to the national team and create an environment where the team "play without fear".

He told Sky Sports: "The vision is to win the World Cup in 2015 and give experience to a group of players we have started the journey with.

"The players are committed to that. They were fantastic in the Six Nations, we were eight weeks together and achieved a huge amount."

Lancaster served as England's interim manager for the Six Nations, guiding the team to second place in the tournament. He was unveiled as Martin Johnson's permanent successor earlier today.
