England back-rower Tom Wood believes that his side can win the Grand Slam in this year's Six Nations.

England opened their campaign with a 38-18 win over Scotland before beating Ireland 12-6 away from home on Sunday.

Stuart Lancaster's men will face France and Italy at Twickenham before a potential Grand Slam decider away to Wales in the final week, and Wood thinks that anything is possible for the current crop of England players.

"I like to think [we could win the Grand Slam]. If we get things right, we're going to be a very difficult side to beat because we are hard to break down," said Wood.

"France will be hurting after recent weeks, Wales are finding some form and will be tough at the Millennium Stadium and Italy are showing what they are capable of, so we'll keep our feet firmly on the ground.

"I don't think there's any limits to what we can achieve. We have to keep focusing on the next job and stay very grounded."

Sunday's victory over Ireland was the first time that England had beaten them in Dublin since 2003, when they went on to win the World Cup.
