England coach Stuart Lancaster wary of France threat

England coach Stuart Lancaster believes that France will give his side a tough test in their crucial Six Nations clash at Twickenham Stadium.

England coach Stuart Lancaster has warned his players not to underestimate France during Saturday's crucial Six Nations clash at Twickenham Stadium.

Lancaster's side head into their final match of the tournament with a slim advantage over Ireland and Wales, while the French also have an outside chance of lifting the trophy.

After seeing his team beat Scotland 25-13 on the weekend, Lancaster believes that Les Bleus will make England work hard for the win.

"France are a completely different proposition to Scotland. They are strong at the set piece, and they have very big powerful players across the board," he told Sky Sports News.

"So it's a different challenge and we must prepare accordingly. But we must focus on ourselves and where we can improve. The game will come down to the full 80 minutes.

"France have a very strong bench themselves and have turned a lot of performances around in the second half. They have got some big guys who come on and make a difference. So the bench will be important for us."

England have finished as runners-up in the Six Nations for the past three years.
