Stuart Lancaster: 'We lost composure'

England boss Stuart Lancaster admits that his side lost their "composure" against Wales on Saturday.

England boss Stuart Lancaster has admitted that his side lost their "composure" in the Six Nations defeat to Wales at the weekend.

The 30-3 defeat ended England's hopes of a Grand Slam, with Wales retaining the crown in front of their own supporters.

"It was disappointing to lose composure and let the game slip away," Lancaster told reporters at a press conference.

"The next step is for our best players to go to the Lions and see how they develop under that pressure, which will be significant."

Former England skipper Will Carling also claimed on Monday that the defeat "was painful to watch".
