South Africa have crushed Argentina 73-13 in their opening game of the 2013 Rugby Championship.
The Proteas were made to work for their points early on with Morne Steyn and Felipe Contepomi trading penalties.
However, South Africa were able to begin a dominant spell when they were awarded a penalty try after Eusebio Guinazu deliberately knocked down a pass, which also led to the Argentinian being sent to the sin bin.
The African nation ran in a further eight tries, with Steyn converting all but one to open up a 67-point lead, barely allowing their opponents time on the ball in the second half.
Contepomi managed to grab a consolation try for the Pumas in the final second of the match, reducing South Africa's lead to 60 at the final whistle.
