Alex Dunbar eyes Scotland consistency

Scotland centre Alex Dunbar challenges his side to show more consistency following their first win of the Six Nations campaign yesterday.

Scotland centre Alex Dunbar has challenged his side to perform at a consistently high level following their first win of this year's Six Nations campaign yesterday.

Dunbar scored two tries as Scotland edged to a 21-20 victory over Italy, with Duncan Weir sealing the win with a drop-goal in the final 10 seconds of the match.

However, the 23-year-old is keen to improve further and wants the team to put in a more rounded performance when they come up against France in their next match on March 8.

"We have set the standard with that win in Rome. Now it is about finding that consistency in other areas," Dunbar is quoted as saying by PA.

"We have still got areas to work on. There were things against Italy that didn't work well. But we have a week off now and hopefully we can put them right before the France game."

Scotland's final match of the tournament will be against Wales at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff on March 15.
