Team GB's Nick Dempsey has won silver after finishing third in the final race of the men's RS:X events this afternoon.
Dempsey finished in the top three in six of the 11 races, but faced stiff competition from Germany's Toni Wilhelm going into the final race.
However, a third-place finish was enough to secure the silver, while Wilhelm had a poor final race and missed out on the bronze medal to Przemyslaw Miarczynski of Poland.
Dorian van Rijsselberge of the Netherlands already had the gold medal tied up before the final race began as he dominated the competition, only finishing outside the top three on one occasion.
