Amber Hill going for gold at Commonwealth Games

Amber Hill revealed that she is a targeting a gold medal spot in the clay target shooting event at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Team England shooting competitor Amber Hill has targeted a gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The 16-year-old, who last year became the youngest winner of a senior World Cup in skeet shooting, will be a part of England's clay target team in Glasgow.

"I am aiming for gold at the Commonwealths," BBC Sport quotes Hill as saying. "I always put pressure on myself to do the best I can, it doesn't come from anyone else, just me wanting to perform to my best and if that is enough to come away with a medal then that's great."

The shooting event gets underway on Friday.
