Stuart Bingham claims Shanghai Masters title

World number 10 Stuart Bingham defeats Mark Allen 10-3 to claim the Shanghai Masters title.

Stuart Bingham has won his second ranking event title having defeated Mark Allen 10-3 at the Shanghai Masters.

The world number 10 raced into a 6-3 lead following the first session, and his opponent was unable to claw him back, with Bingham taking the next four frames to register a convincing victory.

Bingham, who had previously only won the 2011 Australian Open, recorded a highest break of 99 on his way to to picking up the title in China.

Stephen Maguire won last week's SangSom Six Reds World Championship title, but he could only manage a quarter-final finish this time out following defeat at the hands of Alan McManus.
