Germany's seventh seed Angelique Kerber has breezed into the third round of the women's Olympic singles with a straight-sets victory over Hungary's Timea Babos at Wimbledon.
Kerber made light work of her opponent in the opening set as she eased to a 6-1 triumph.
An early break in the second was cancelled out by Babos, but the German broke back instantly as she closed out the match 6-1 in just 57 minutes.
Kerber will now meet either American Venus Williams or Canada's Aleksandra Wozniack for a place in the quarter-finals.
