Boris Becker has insisted that he wants to continue working alongside world number one Novak Djokovic.
The 46-year-old has been coaching Djokovic since January, in which time the Serbian pro has claimed a second Wimbledon title and climbed back to the summit of the men's rankings.
Becker says that holding on to top spot is now the main target for next season, as well as winning the Roland Garros Grand Slam crown.
"We have a very good relationship," he told reporters. "We have built a lot of experience, a lot of trust. We like it very much and we want to continue. That is the plan.
"The year has been successful but it's not over yet. Of course he wants to win Roland Garros in the future but that's one of his many goals next year. I think the main thing is always the ranking. To stay at the number one position means to be consistent during the whole year."
Djokovic was edged out by Roger Federer in last week's Shanghai Masters semi-finals.
