Number nine seed Marin Cilic has overcome Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in two sets to advance to the quarter-finals of the Miami Masters.
In a hard-fought first set the Croat battled to get the crucial break to take the set 7-5 with some solid strokeplay.
The second set was equally tense as the Frenchman battled to get back into the match, taking the set into a tie-breaker in which Cilic prevailed, winning 7-4.
The 24-year-old will now face Andy Murray in the last eight of the competition.
