Maria Sharapova has moved into the fourth round of the Miami Masters with a straight-sets victory over Elena Vesnina.
Both players struggled in the Florida heat during a scrappy opening set before third seed Sharapova eventually came through 6-4.
It was a similar story in the second set, but Sharapova took advantage of her fellow Russian's waning resources to see her off 6-2.
She will now take on Klara Zakopalova for a place in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
