Paul-Henri Mathieu has booked his place in the semi-finals of the Swiss Indoors in Basel thanks to a surprise straight-sets victory over Grigor Dimitrov.
The world number 101 saved two set points in the opening set before he won the tie-break 7-2.
Despite having the chance to serve out the match at 5-3, Mathieu closed out the contest 7-4 in a second tie-break.
The Frenchman will now face either number one seed and home favourite Roger Federer or Benoit Paire for a place in Sunday's final.
