Andy Roddick has revealed that he is not trying to overcomplicate his final Grand Slam tournament.
The 30-year-old announced on Friday that the ongoing US Open would be his final Slam as a professional tennis player.
However, rather than getting caught up by all the attention, Roddick has insisted that he is looking to enjoy his final few days on the circuit.
"This whole process, I'm not trying to over think it. I'm enjoying it," said Roddick.
"I'm trying to be as simplistic as possible. I'm trying to enjoy the process. And when I get out there, [I'm] trying to compete also."
Roddick will take on Juan Martin Del Potro for a place in the quarter-finals tomorrow night.
