Fabio Fognini cruises through first round in New York

Fabio Fognini beats Andrey Golubev 6-4 6-4 6-2 in just under two hours in the first round of the US Open.
Italy's Fabio Fognini has eased into the second round of the US Open.
The men's 15th seed dealt with Kazakh Andrey Golubev 6-4 6-4 6-2 in just under two hours in New York.
Fognini was broken just once during the match on Court 11.
He will next face either Pere Riba of Spain or France's Adrian Mannarino on Thursday.
