Team GB have confirmed their two flag bearers for the Paris 2024 Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday evening, where a pair of gold medal winners will be bestowed with the honour.
Great Britain will head home across the English Channel having bettered their tally of medals from the Tokyo 2020 Games, achieving a mammoth 65 podium finishes in total.
Bronzes for weightlifter Emily Campbell and track cyclist Emma Finucane on the final day saw GB surpass their Tokyo record, with 14 golds, 22 silvers and 29 bronzes being packed into Brits' suitcases.
Following almost three weeks of gripping action, the curtain comes down on the Olympics with Sunday's closing ceremony at the Stade de France, where a star-studded cast of celebrities will perform.
Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers and rapper Snoop Dogg - who has been a prominent figure at the Games - will be among those involved at the ceremony, while there are rumours that Hollywood film star Tom Cruise will do a Mission Impossible segment.

After Tom Daley and Helen Glover carried the flag for GB in the opening ceremony, triathlon star Alex Yee and trampoline icon Bryony Page will take on the responsibility for the closing ceremony.
Twenty-six-year-old Yee produced a sensational late burst to win the men's triathlon gold medal, before also helping the mixed relay team win bronze, confirming his status as the most successful Olympic triathlete ever.
"I'm really excited and honoured to be given the opportunity to be one of the Team GB flagbearers. It means a lot to me," the four-time Olympic medallist told the Team GB website.
"The Closing Ceremony is a key part of the Olympic experience and having not got to experience it in Tokyo, I wanted to come to it in Paris. So, to be able to go to it, first of all, was really special, but then to get the phone call this morning to be asked to hold the GB flag was really, really special.
"There's been so many incredible performances over the last two weeks from Team GB, so to be selected as somebody who's represented Team GB well and made the country proud is really special."

Meanwhile, Page completed the Olympics trifecta with gold in the women's trampoline, having won the silver medal at the Rio 2016 Games and being forced to settle for bronze at Tokyo 2020.
The 33-year-old only qualified for the final in fifth place but produced a mesmerising routine to finally win an emotional gold, adding to her World Championship titles from 2021 and 2023.
"When I got the call to tell me, I couldn't believe it, it truly is such an honour. For a sport like trampolining, which is quite niche, it's quite amazing - and to be able to hold the flag for all of the Team GB Olympians here is incredible," Page added.
"It's a very emotional and proud moment, and I cannot wait to hold the flag for every single athlete who has competed - congratulations to every single one of them for their performances and how they have supported every other team member, it's such a special team to be a part of. To have won an Olympic gold at my third Games and now to be given this honour, it just caps the incredible experience that Paris 2024 has been for me."
The Olympics closing ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8pm UK time and will run until 10.30pm.
