Great Britain's Paralympic women have succumbed to a 3-0 defeat to Ukraine in their sitting volleyball opener.
The British team, which includes Martine Wright - who lost both her legs in the London 7/7 bombings - failed to get off the mark in the early stages of the clash, which allowed Ukraine to grab a 25-8 advantage and a first-set lead.
ParalympicsGB managed to get back into the contest in the second set with Wright, who displayed some impressive reflexes at the net, but it wasn't enough to draw level as Ukraine edged it 25-20.
The third and final set was wrapped up by Ukraine in 18 minutes as they extended their lead to 25-14.
