Team GB skipper David Murdoch: "Game of two halves"

David Murdoch wants Great Britain to start games the way they finished the victory over Germany on Tuesday.

Team GB's men's curling skipper David Murdoch has admitted that his team must become more consistent as the tournament goes on, following their narrow win over Germany at the Sochi Games on Tuesday.

Britain had to come back from 3-1 down after four ends, and Murdoch believes that they must start playing like they did in the second half of the game more often.

"It was a game of two halves," he told Team GB's official website. "We had a terrible first half and then we really came out firing.

"The coach had a good talk with us about believing in ourselves and coming out and playing the way we know can and I think we did that.

"We forced a lot more pressure on those guys, made them play some tough shots."

Britain have won two of their opening three games.
