Team GB's Jenny Jones through to slopestyle final

Jenny Jones qualifies for the final of the snowboarding slopestyle in Sochi, but her Team GB teammate Aimee Fuller misses out.

Team GB snowboarder Jenny Jones has secured a place in the final of the slopestyle event at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The 33-year-old, who is a three-time X Games champion, finished third in the semi-finals on Sunday with a score of 83.25.

However, her British compatriot Aimee Fuller failed to make it to the final and could only end up ninth in the heat.

Sarka Pancochova of the Czech Republic was first in the semi-finals with 90.50, while Sina Candrian of Switzerland took second position with 84.25.

Norway's Silje Norendal also went through to Sunday's final by finishing fourth with a score of 78.75.
