Daniel Bryan has marked his return to action with a disqualification victory over Kane at this week's WWE SmackDown tapings.
The former WWE world heavyweight champion, who has been absent since May after neck surgery, secured the win after interference from J & J Security, Big Show and Seth Rollins, with the conclusion of the match resulting a six-man tag-team match being made for later in the night which also involved Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
However, despite competing earlier in the evening, Bryan and his team were able to defeat Kane, Big Show and Rollins to end the show's return to Thursday night on a high.
Elsewhere at the event, Bad News Barrett successfully defended his intercontinental title with a win over Sin Cara, while the team of The Miz, Damien Mizdow and Alicia Fox overcame The Usos and Naomi.
