Liam Payne: 'I've already said too much about One Direction reunion'

Liam Payne refuses to comment further on the potential One Direction reunion, insisting that he has "already said too much".

Liam Payne has admitted that he has "already said too much" about the potential One Direction reunion this summer.

The boyband are rumoured to be reuniting for the first time in more than four years to mark the 10-year anniversary of their formation of The X Factor.

Payne has previously revealed that the boys are working on a "special project" to mark the occasion, which is thought to comprise a TV special, a one-off gig and a possible new single.

Asked for more details on Good Morning Britain, the 'Strip That Down' singer replied: "No, I can't tell you too much because I've already said too much. There's been a threat from one of the members that he's going to egg my house if I say any more, so I don't want that to happen.

"It's been nice, we've been talking to each other a lot more. The lines of communication are a lot more back open with everyone.

"I think we've realised how special it is to get to a 10-year anniversary of anything really. To have gone as far as we did and be as successful as we were and still be here today and receiving all the things from the fans, it's really nice. So we're definitely feeling how special it is and making sure we're telling each other that."

Payne has also hinted that Zayn Malik, who quit the band a year before they went on hiatus, may not return for the reunion.
