Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has revealed that his test for coronavirus has come back negative.
The 55-year-old announced yesterday that he had taken a test for the deadly disease after developing "mild symptoms" and consequently was absent from the breakfast show this morning.
Taking to Twitter, Morgan revealed: "UPDATE: My COVID-19 test was negative. I was advised to take the test by my doctor after developing possible coronavirus symptoms, and was entitled to do so as a Govt-designated essential worker.
"I'll be back on @GMB as soon as my doctor advises I'm OK to return to work."
Morgan's former friend Lord Sugar earlier mocked the presenter for taking a test, accusing him of hypocrisy for having one ahead of frontline health workers.
