Megan Thee Stallion has claimed male hypocrisy over the lyrics to her hit collaboration with Cardi B, 'WAP'.
The track, which is on course to chart inside the UK top 10 this week, has come in for criticism for its explicit subject matter and lyrics.
In computer parlance, 'WAP' is used to refer to a Wireless Application Protocol but in Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B's song it is instead used as a reference to a "Wet-Ass Pussy".
Lyrics include "bring a bucket and a mop for this wet-ass pussy", "it's goin' in dry and it's comin' out soggy" and "he got a beard, well I'm tryin' to wet it, I let him taste it, now he diabetic".
Amid the criticism, Megan Thee Stallion pointed to the 1999 track 'Slob On My Knob', which depicts oral sex from a male perspective.
Posting on Twitter, she wrote: "Lol dudes will scream 'slob on my knob' word for word and crying abt WAP. bye lil boy."
