Doctor Alex: 'My gag reflex is pretty strong'

Doctor Alex George reveals that his gag reflex is "pretty strong" after using a coronavirus home testing kit for his YouTube channel.

Doctor Alex George has been left surprised by the strength of his own gag reflex after he took a coronavirus swab test for his YouTube channel.

The former Love Island star is currently working in the A&E department at a London hospital and has spent the last few months treating patients admitted with the deadly COVID-19 disease.

During that time George has engaged his social media followers with regular videos explaining various aspects of the pandemic from a medical perspective.

In his latest video, the 30-year-old demonstrates how to make use of a home testing kit, which involves inserting a swab in the nose and the back of the throat.

"Turns out my gag reflex is pretty strong," he tells followers. "I have put together a step by step video of how to use a COVID-19 home testing kit, showing you the correct technique so that you can get an accurate result.

"There are so many test kits online, many of which are not validated, I have included some advice and guidance around this too."
