Paul Chuckle tests positive for coronavirus

The remaining half of the Chuckle Brothers reveals that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

Paul Chuckle, one half of cult comedy act the Chuckle Brothers, has revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

The 72-year-old - famous for his "to me, to you" catchphrase with his late brother Barry - posted a video to social media to reveal that he is "on the mend" after contracting the killer disease.

"Hi guys, just checking in to let you know I'm still around," he said. "I have been laid up with Covid-19 for a good few days, just mild, but it was there and it's not nice, I promise you, so please, please stay inside.

"We're all going stir-crazy, we know that, but please stay inside and take the pressure off the NHS, Marie Curie, etc, etc."

More than 800,000 people worldwide have now tested positive for COVID-19, while over 39,000 have lost their lives.
