Jacqui Smith has become the first celebrity to be voted off this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
The former home secretary, 57, was rock bottom of the judges' voting after two weeks of performances, with Craig Revel Horwood awarding her 2/10 and comparing her to a staggering drunk person following her Saturday samba with pro partner Anton Du Beke.
After the viewers had voted and the scores were combined with the panel's, Smith found herself in the first dance-off alongside Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing and his partner Karen Hauer.
All three judges unanimously chose to save Laing, sending Smith home.
For Du Beke, who has appeared in every series of Strictly to date, the vote-off marks the third time that he has been eliminated first, having previously got the inaugural boot with Gillian Taylforth in 2008 and Susannah Constantine in 2018.
Strictly Come Dancing continues with movie week next Saturday at 7.25pm on BBC One.
