Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande duet heading for number one

A charity duet from Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande is on course to reach the top spot in the UK singles chart this week.

Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande's charity duet is on course to reach the top spot in the UK singles chart, according to midweek sales data from the Official Charts Company.

'Stuck With U', which aims to raise money to help school children of people fighting the coronavirus pandemic, is currently 2,500 chart sales ahead of Drake's 'Toosie Slide'.

Should it remain in pole position, the song would become Grande's sixth UK number one and Bieber's eighth.

Elsewhere, 103-year-old Dame Vera Lynn is on track to becoming the oldest living person to secure a UK top 40 single, with her original version of 'We'll Meet Again' currently at six after Friday's VE Day celebrations.
