Two touchdowns from Frank Gore have helped the San Francisco 49ers beat the Atlanta Falcons to win the NFC Championship Game for the first time since 1995.
The 49ers came from 17-0 down to book their place in the Super Bowl.
Julio Jones gave Atlanta an early lead when he touched down following a 46-yard pass from Matt Ryan in the first quarter.
A Matt Bryant field goal further extended the Falcons' advantage before Jones scored his second touchdown of the night midway through the second.
LaMichael James and Vernon Davis both made it to the end zone to reduce the Falcons' lead to three points.
However, another superb pass from Ryan found Tony Gonzalez moments later to put Atlanta 24-14 ahead at half time.
Gore forced his way over the line in the third quarter to bring San Francisco to within three points of their opponents once again.
The Miami-born running back then finished off a nine-yard run by scoring the decisive touchdown with eight minutes of the match remaining.
