The Baltimore Ravens have confirmed that Ray Lewis will not return against the New York Giants today.
The linebacker returned to practice with the Ravens three weeks ago, having torn his triceps in October.
Baltimore had hoped that the 37-year-old would be ready for today's game, but have now said that Lewis will not be added to their 53-man roster.
Lewis had been expected to replace Jameel McClain, who has sustained a spinal injury, but Adrian Hamilton moves in to the lineup instead.
The Ravens have lost their lost three games.
