Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta has admitted that it was "special" for him to return to action following a hip injury with a thrilling win over the Minnesota Vikings.
The 28-year-old played his first game since the Super Bowl after four months out with a dislocated hip injury he sustained during his side's training camp.
"I remember when I got injured, I didn't know if I was even going to play football again," Pitta told the club's official website.
"So being able to stand here and talk about a victory and being a part of that is special for me. And just being a part of this team and being able to fight the way we did today is pretty remarkable."
The Ravens moved to 7-6 with their remarkable win over the Vikings as four touchdowns were scored in the last two minutes of the game.
