Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has revealed that he thought he got under the ball too much on his match-winning field goal during last night's game against the Detroit Lions.
Tucker kicked a 61-yard effort with just 32 seconds remaining to clinch a 18-16 victory for his side, keeping their playoff hopes alive in the process.
It was the longest field goal of his career by five yards, and the 24-year-old was pleased that his side showed so much faith in him.
"If they send me out there, they have reason to. It's because they think I can make the kick. I definitely felt like I got a lot of leg into it, but it jumped up so high I thought I might have gotten under it," Tucker told The AP.
The result moves the Ravens to within one win of the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North with two regular season matches remaining.
