Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone has confirmed that quarterback Thaddeus Lewis is a doubt for Sunday's match against the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs.
Lewis was injured on the first play of his side's 35-17 defeat to the New Orleans Saints at the weekend but returned for the next series and played through the pain for the remainder of the match.
However, the 25-year-old was unable to practice today and is rated at "50-50" by Marrone for Sunday's match.
"The doctors call it a contusion. In layman's terms, I call it sore," Marrone told reporters.
The Bills will also be without rookie EJ Manuel for the match despite him returning to practice this week, leaving Jeff Tuel and Matt Flynn to fight it out for the starting quarterback jersey.
