LeSean McCoy: Philadelphia Eagles have 'panicked' in close season

The Philadelphia Eagles have panicked in the close-season, claims former player LeSean McCoy.

New Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy has said that former team the Philadelphia Eagles have panicked in the close season.

McCoy joined the Bills earlier this month, and the Eagles have replaced him with both DeMarco Murray from the Dallas Cowboys and Ryan Mathews from the San Diego Chargers.

He said on The Rich Eisen Show: "I saw that they originally were trying to get Frank Gore, and he backed out. So then when they got DeMarco and they got Ryan Mathews, I thought it was like a panic move."

He later added: "I didn't understand it. I should say that."

McCoy spent six seasons in Philadelphia, scoring 44 touchdowns.
