The New Orleans Saints ended their NFL season with a 44-38 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
The Saints defense gave up 530 yards to break the league record for most yards conceded in a season.
Drew Brees became the first quarterback to throw for over 5,000 yards in back-to-back seasons, passing for almost 400 yards and throwing four touchdown passes.
DeAngelo Williams rushed for 210 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Panthers, while Mike Tolbert ran in to the end zone three times as the Saints struggled to control Carolina's running game.
Both sides were already out of contention for the playoffs ahead of the game.
