Cincinnati Bengals receiver AJ Green has insisted that he will be ready to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday after making progress in his recovery from an ongoing toe injury.
Green has been sidelined for the last three weeks with the problem, but he is confident that he will be able to make his comeback this weekend.
"I'll practice this week and see how it goes, but I think I'll be fine," Green said, according to NFL.com.
"I was at 40% last week and I feel about 80% today. I haven't had any soreness after I've worked out."
It had been reported that the Bengals coaching staff preferred to rest Green until the match-up against divisional rivals the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.
However, the 26-year-old is adamant that he will be ready for Sunday and he insists that he is desperate to return to the field.
