Late Andy Dalton touchdown clinches Cincinnati Bengals win

Andy Dalton scores a late touchdown to give the Cincinnati Bengals a narrow win over the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL.

Andy Dalton scored a rushing touchdown in the final minute to give the Cincinnati Bengals a 27-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL this evening.

Mohamed Sanu gathered a 48-yard pass in the first quarter to get the Bengals into a strong field position, allowing Dalton to force his way over for a one-yard rushing touchdown.

Justin Forsett came close to getting a score back for the Ravens, but the Ravens had to settle for two Justin Tucker field goals to leave them a point down at half time.

The home side increased their advantage early in the third quarter when Giovani Bernard burst over from just a yard out after another long reception from Sanu.

The Ravens were back in contention before the end of the third quarter though when Lorenzo Taliaferro sprinted over, while Forsett managed to run in the two-point conversion to cut the lead to three.

Taliaferro was in again midway through the fourth with another run, and Tucker's extra point kick gave Baltimore the lead for the first time in the game.

While pushing to restore his side's lead, Dalton threw an interception to give the ball back to the Ravens, but they were unable to add more than a field goal.

However, the Bengals quickly made their way back down the other end, with Dalton forcing his way over from a yard out for the second time in the game to clinch the win.

The result moves the Bengals back to the top in the AFC North with a 4-2-1 record, leaving them just ahead of the 5-3 Ravens.
