Josh Gordon hints at Cleveland Browns choosing Blake Bortles in Draft

Cleveland Browns star Josh Gordon hints that his team will be picking a quarterback in the NFL Draft, and that the man they choose will be Blake Bortles.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has stated that he thinks the team will be choosing a quarterback in the first round of the NFL Draft next month.

The Browns have the fourth overall pick during the Draft, after the Houston Texans and the Jacksonville Jaguars choose, with both franchises also looking at new signal callers.

Teddy Bridgewater and Johnny Manziel have both been touted as possible picks, but now Gordon has thrown the name of UCF Knight's Blake Bortles into the mix.

He told Fox Sports: "From talking with (Browns general manager) Ray Farmer, I'm still pretty sure we're going to take a quarterback.

"Blake Bortles seems like a real tall, sturdy quarterback that might be able to withstand a strong conference like ours. He looks like he is able to battle attrition and stay healthy."

At present, Brian Hoyer is the franchise's first choice quarterback, but it seems unlikely that the Browns will begin the season without a new option.
