DeMarco Murray has returned to practice with the Dallas Cowboys just 48 hours after undergoing surgery to repair a fracture in his left hand.
The running back, who currently leads the league in rushing, sustained the injury during the team's win over the Philadelphia Eagles at the weekend, making him a doubt for Sunday's clash with the Indianapolis Colts.
Although officially listed as not practising on the injury report as he did not take team snaps, the 26-year-old participated in individual drills on the practice field with backup quarterback Brandon Weeden.
Head coach Jason Garrett insists that he is not ruling Murray out of Sunday's game, but says that he needs to see him carry the ball under pressure in practice before gameday.
