The Dallas Cowboys have traded defensive tackle Sean Lissemore to the San Diego Chargers in return for a seventh-round draft pick in 2015.
Lissemore joined the Cowboys as a seventh-round draft pick himself in 2010 and had signed a three-year extension to his contract last September.
However, it is believed that Lissemore did not fit in the Cowboys' new 4-3 scheme, while the Chargers' 3-4 is a more suitable match for the 25-year-old.
Lissemore started just six of the 28 games he played in for the Cowboys, making 85 tackles and 3.5 sacks in the process.
The trade is the Cowboys' second in as many days after they swapped their 2014 sixth-round pick for Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Edgar Jones and a seventh-round pick in 2014.
