Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has revealed that Hall of Fame coach Bill Parcells has lauded his side's quarterback Tony Romo.
Romo has often being criticised by supporters for struggling in key situations especially during the playoffs, where he has failed to win a game since assuming the starter's job in Dallas in 2006.
"Bill knows Tony well and he has always had a real appreciation for Romo's approach and his intellect relative to play calling relative to seeing and understanding the game," Jones told ESPNDallas.com.
"He's unique in that way. In a way, Tony has some of the kind of skills you might see in a Sean Payton."
Dallas open their regular season campaign against the New York Giants on September 8.
