Dez Bryant blasts Dallas Cowboys contract situation

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant says that being placed under the franchise tag gives him no security.

Dez Bryant has taken to Twitter to vent his frustrations regarding his contract situation with the Dallas Cowboys.

The wide receiver has been placed under the team's franchise tag, which would pay him $12.823m (£8.07m) for the 2015 NFL season, but he is yet to sign the tender, holding out for a long-term contract extension.

The 26-year-old wrote on social media: "Everybody voicing opinions. 13 mil is cool but where is my security? I'll wait, five years without complaining. So how am I selfish?"

Bryant has insisted that he is willing to miss the start of the season in order to secure a new contract.
