Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has expressed his belief that the side have "come a long way" since he joined them two years ago.
Manning signed for the Broncos in 2012 having been released by the Indianapolis Colts after a serious neck injury ruled him out for the entire 2011 campaign.
However, the 37-year-old has enjoyed a prolific spell at the Broncos so far, reaching the playoffs in his first year and guiding the team to the Super Bowl this season courtesy of a 26-16 win over the New England Patriots in last night's AFC championship game.
"We've definitely come a long way in two years. And bouncing back from last year's playoff loss to put ourselves in this position, it definitely feels very gratifying," Manning told The AP.
The Broncos will face the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl, with Manning looking to cap off a record-breaking season with his second championship.
