Peyton Manning "happy" with final 'Manning Bowl'

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is happy that yesterday's match against the New York Giants is likely to be the last time he plays against his younger brother Eli.

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has admitted that he is glad that he is unlikely to play against his younger brother Eli again in his career.

The Manning brothers faced each other for the third time last night, with Peyton maintaining his 100% record in the matches dubbed the 'Manning Bowls' courtesy of a 41-23 win.

Unless the Broncos are drawn against the Giants in this year's post-season, the duo will not face each other again for four years, by which time Peyton believes that he will be retired.

"I think both of us are glad that it's over with," Peyton told The AP. "Post-season is one thing, but I don't think I'll make it to the next regular season [meeting].

"I think this will be the end of it. So I'll be happy about that. And the family will.

"For me, it's a strange feeling. It's not quite as enjoyable as if you beat somebody else."

Peyton threw two touchdown passes during the match, while Eli managed just one and was intercepted four times.
