Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Matheus Cunha begins a two-game suspension when Nottingham Forest arrive at Molineux for Monday's Premier League contest.
The Brazilian admitted an FA charge of misconduct for an incident in their 2-1 loss to Ipswich Town last month, meaning that he will sit out this game and the upcoming FA Cup third-round clash with Bristol City.
Ten-goal Cunha will be one of at least seven absentees for the hosts, who are also without Sasa Kalajdzic (knee), Enso Gonzalez (knee), Yerson Mosquera (knee), Boubacar Traore (knee), Pablo Sarabia (calf) and Toti Gomes (hamstring) for their reunion with former boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
However, head coach Vitor Pereira can simply swap out Cunha for towering striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, who came off the bench to net Wolves' equaliser in their 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in their final game of 2024.
Larsen's return could be one of two attacking alterations from the hosts, as Jean-Ricner Bellegarde only made it to half time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and might cede his place to Goncalo Guedes; Hwang Hee-chan's position is safe, though.
Mario Lemina (unspecified) and Andre (knock) are both on the touch-and-go list for Monday's game, so Pereira may very well promote a fully-fit Tommy Doyle to the midfield alongside Joao Gomes.
Nelson Semedo and Rayan Ait-Nouri are certainties out wide, though, while Matt Doherty, Santiago Bueno and Craig Dawson are primed to form an unchanged backline in front of Jose Sa.
Wolverhampton Wanderers possible starting lineup:
Sa; Doherty, Bueno, Dawson; Semedo, Doyle, J. Gomes, Ait-Nouri; Hwang, Guedes; Larsen
